⚠️ 0xPandemic is shutting down ⚠️

Unfortunately we come to the conclusion we didn't hit market fit.

After a few internal discussions, we have come to the conclusion that 0xPandemic will be shut down in the next few weeks. We didn’t hit the market fit we were hoping for. Without proper funds, we can’t keep building and promoting as we should.

Although we put a lot of effort into building an original concept, we failed to communicate it effectively, so we had to make the hard decision.

What next

All the funds left from the sales are in a Gnosis Safe:

The treasury has:

• ~5,308 USDC

• ~2,036 MATIC

We will swap everything to MATIC and airdrop back to the addresses that bought the Labs the same amount of MATICs.

We sold labs for 6114 MATIC, so there are enough funds in the treasury to cover that.

NFT minted

All the NFTs minted so far, and the labs are still working; however, as soon as we turn off the service for the rendering and the s3 hosting, it won’t be possible to access the website and generate new thumbnails.

On the other hand, the NFTs will still be available on OpenSea and, generally speaking, on-chain.

If there is an interest from someone in the community to handle the project or the backend services, we are happy to assist in the transition.

Thank you for your support you have been an amazing community we hope you can understand how it has been hard for us to decide to shutdown the project but we couldn’t keep working on that.
